In this article, the attitude of our ancestors to the teacher's personality, historical
experiences, issues of approach to the student as a value, ways of formation of the future teacher's
competences on diagnosis and evaluation of the educational process, how much the teacher's diagnostic
activity is necessary for practice, pedagogical and psychological aspects of this necessity, professional
training of future teachers.
