Abstract

This article is devoted to the study of the semantic peculiarities of the phraseological units with numerative components “three” and “four” in English and Uzbek languages. Language is an important element of the culture of any nation, including the fact that the language reflects the culture, the history of the nation and the ideology and world view of the nation. Many units of the language can be such a mirror, but there are some language units, which by their very nature can be the better mirror of the culture, history and world view of the nation. One of these language units is a phraseological unit.
